CH Old Mountain Farm Knight Rider VEE 90- DNA

Old Mountain Farm Knight Rider

DOB: 2/23/18

Rider is a beautiful son of Old Mountain Farm Stag Knight which makes him the grandson of the amazing SG Old Mountain Farm Stag and SG NC Promisedland Nemesis 3*M!  He is long/deep bodied and stands correct on all 4 legs.  I love his topline and really appreciate his overall general appearance.  Rider became a permanent champion under the care of Stacey Teas Collins and was selected as the 2023 ANDDA All-American Aged Buck!

Who in the world doesn't love Sissy?  Look at her topline, brisket extension, body depth, and overall dairy strength!!  This doe is one of my all time favorites.

Stag Knight came to my farm in March 2024 and I lost him suddenly from enterotoxemia just 2 months after he arrived.  I was heart broken to lose such an important and beautiful animal.  He was so regal and dairy.

DOB: 6/12/2022

Bold Bean combines two of my favorite Nigerian Dwarf goats: Honey Lemon and Beans!  Honey and Beans are both very dairy animals and Honey's udder is well attached/ incredibly capacious... which made him a slam dunk as a herdsire for our breeding program.  His littermate sisters did quite well at the 2023 State Fair with Honey Bean winning Grand Champion Junior Doe/ BIS on the 4-H day under the care of Kodie Bradley and Lemon Eclair winning 1st place in her class in the open show.

Honey Lemon is a stunning doe that lived with me for 3-4 years until I sold her to a young lady at KB&CO Farm.  Honey was not a cull but I wanted to set her new owner up for success and I really feel that she is in a home that can shine.  Honey is extremely dairy with a gorgeous, well-attached, productive udder.

As a 2 year old, Tiny Angels RNB Sassaneq became a finished champion!  I was fortunate enough to meet her in person and she was breath taking.

Quinoa is the littermate sister to our beloved Old Mountain Farm JustPlainEd and is a beautiful doe in her own right.  Even though Wheat Berry was hunkered down in his photo to the left, I couldn't help but admire that amazing brisket extension and overall dairy strength.  We are excited to use these genetics in our herd and think that we can cook up some amazing linebreedings on LeeLoni, Nightshade, and Millet.  I fell in love with Old Mountain Farm goats in 2002 when I lived in Maine and am grateful to Wyl and Cheryle for their long friendship.

Levin is beautiful doe that I've had the pleasure to watch earn her permanent championship under the careful stewardship of Chris and Julie Lane at Celtic Pride Farm.  She is a powerhouse dairy doe with a perfect topline and leg set.  At the 2021 ADGA Nationals, she was 2nd place in the 2year old milkers and 2nd place best udder!  Her breeding to Haymaker Farm Oleksiy is pure magic.  This buckling is probably the most beautifully built buckling I've ever laid eyes on.  His width, dairy strength, topline, and general conformation are top notch.  I'm excited to use him in our breeding program and grateful to my friend Julie for trusting me with him.

Linekin resides with our good friend, Stacey Teas Collins at Haymaker Farm in Maine.  She was a 2022 payment for my farm logo that Stacey created in 2020 and it's been a pleasure to watch her success under Stacey's amazing stewardship.   Linnekin's first freshening udder was beautiful enough to win her several first placings in the yearling milker categories of shows in New England.  With just a tad bit more capacity in a second freshening, I'm excited to see what she does!  I'm grateful to have this dairy buckling join our herd and look forward to doing some linebreedings!

Gouda is a buckling that I bought out of a first freshening doe but just look at her beautiful udder at only 3 weeks fresh in her first lactation.  The pedigree is chock full of beautiful animals and I really respect the breeding program that Emily is putting together at Drewem Farm.  I'm excited to see what Gouda does for our program at American Jewell Farm.

I think this photo speaks for itself.  Tan G Rine is "udder" perfection!  We are thrilled to have these genetics to add to our breeding program and fell in love with Moon Station goats at the 2021 ADGA Nationals.  Tan Z Nite is the sweetest dude and so very dairy.  He's not easy to get photos of because he always wants to be at my feet but we will get one eventually!

This photo of Mark Weir and his first home grown National Champion, CH Agape's Prize French Quarter, is now iconic and represents the biggest dream for any breeder.  As a 9 year old doe, Frenchie just earned another linear appraisal score of 92 which is a great indicator of her longevity.  We are honored to have this little guy on our farm and look forward to showing him and making beautiful babies!  Thank you, Mark, for allowing this amazing buckling to join our herd.
